M- can hear a few light pops between tracks but never while music is playing
VG+ slight surface noise between track and on quieter parts of music
VG surface noise between and during some of the music but never pops or scratches
VG- surface noise and a pop, cracle during the music but still very listenable
G+ surface noise and pops during music which can be distracting at times but still listenable
F surface noise can in some places be as loud as the music but still listenable
P surface noise can in some places be as loud as the music and can be distracting
